Firefox

In the FireFox address bar, type about:config.
Look for the javascript.enabled setting.
Set it to true by right-clicking and pressing toggle.

Internet Explorer

On the Tools menu, click Internet Options, then click the Security tab.
Click the Internet Zone.
If you do not have to customize your Internet security settings, click Default Level. Then do step 4.
If you have to customize your Internet security settings, follow these steps:
a. Click Custom Level.
b. In the Security Settings - Internet Zone dialog box, click Enable for Active Scripting in the Scripting section.
Click the Back button to return to the previous page, and then click the Refresh button to run scripts.

Chrome

In the Chrome address bar, type chrome://settings/content.
Select “Allow all sites to run JavaScript”.
Click done and close the settings tab.
Refresh the page.

Apple Safari

On the web browser menu click on the "Edit" and select "Preferences".
In the "Preferences" window select the "Security" tab.
In the "Security" tab section "Web content" mark the "Enable JavaScript" checkbox.
Click on the "Reload the current page" button of the web browser to refresh the page.

Canadian Psychological Association's 88th Annual General Meeting and National Convention

The 88th Annual General Meeting and National Convention of the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) is scheduled to take place from Thursday, June 3 to Saturday, June 5, 2027, in Victoria, British Columbia at the Victoria Conference Centre and Fairmont Empress Hotel. CPA's Professional Development Pre-Convention Workshops will occur on Wednesday, June 2, 2027.

We are pleased to welcome the North American Correctional Criminal Justice Psychology Conference (N6), joining the CPA2027 88th Annual National Convention from June 3 – June 5, 2027, held at the Fairmont Empress Hotel and the Victoria Conference Centre. Individuals wishing to submit to N6 presentation should do so through the CPA Convention submission portal.

If you have chosen to participate in the 88th Annual National Convention or the North American Correctional Criminal Justice Psychology Conference (N6) you may submit to present any of the listed presentations below:

Poster Presentations: Traditional Posters (55 minutes); Virtual Posters (5 minutes)
Spoken Individual Presentations: Snapshots (5 minutes); 12-minute Talks (12 minutes); Round Table Conversation Sessions (25 minutes); Review Session (25 minutes)
Spoken Group Presentations: Panel Discussions (55 minutes); Symposium (55 minutes)
Workshops: Standard Workshop (85 minutes) Eligibility for Continuing Education credits

You may submit an abstract in your preferred language. Select it at the top right of this page before starting your submission.

Deadline for All submissions is Thursday, December 3, 2026 (23:59EST).

CPA Members, please use the same email address that you use for your CPA membership.

Non-Members and Student non-affiliates please use the same email address to submit your abstract as you will use to register for the Convention.

CPA Members, Honorary Life/Honorary Fellows/Retired Members, Early Career 1 & 2, Parental Leave, APA-CPA Joint/Fellow, Student Affiliates, Section Associates, Special Affiliates, International Affiliates, Non-members and Student non-affiliates are encouraged to submit!
