Session Title TP - Decision Making, Evaluation and Monitoring
Title Decision‑making in mobility and planning projects: methods and applications
Abstract

More and more, transportation stakeholders are being called upon to work on multidisciplinary projects in which consultation and decision‑making can prove to be complex. In projects where several design or layout options are developed, different analytical methods help establish a dialogue between partners and stakeholders, thereby identifying the most suitable solution. Among these methods, multidomain and multicriteria analyses offer various advantages depending on the context. The addition of decision‑support tools such as the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) can also assist in the decision‑making process. A comparison of these methods, supported by examples, will be presented to highlight their differences and their application.
