-
- Introduction
- Highway 413 is a new 52 km 400-series highway in the GTA west region through Halton, Peel, and York Regions. It has 11 municipal interchanges connecting to the local arterial systems.
- Currently, Highway 413 is in the Environmental Assessment and Preliminary Design stage, which is identifying the corridor requirements for the highway, transitway, and other ancillary facilities.
- The history of Highway 413 goes back to at least 2007 with the initiation of Stage 1 of the Environmental Assessment Process; to determine the future needs and general location a facility in the GTA West area.
- There has been a lot said about the Highway 413 study in the political spheres, and the Project Team is here to provide an in-depth summary of the study, including its environmental analysis, technical complexities, and external controls.
