| Abstract or description | This presentation will explore the implementation of Transportation Systems Management and Operations (TSMO) innovations with a focus on enhancing mobility through a state-of-the-art arterial Traffic Operations Center (TOC). The presenter will discuss specific strategies, technologies, and initiatives employed by the TOC to optimize traffic flow, reduce congestion, integrate with freeway operations, and improve overall transportation efficiency. They will also demonstrate the innovative data-driven traffic signal operations efforts at the strategic, macro, and micro levels. In this case study, we emphasize the results obtained from the application of diverse TSMO strategies aimed at addressing prevalent challenges in urban transportation operations. The findings not only showcase the effectiveness of these strategies in mitigating challenges but also contribute to the improvement of future approaches to arterial operations. |
