Session Title CV - Connected Vehicle Technologies and Infrastructure
Title Potential Day-one CAV Applications and Related Infrastructure Demands
Abstract or description

Connected and Automated Vehicle (CAV) development in North America is beginning to turn from the technology verification and pilot testing/deployment phase to system-wide deployment planning. Proposed deployment plans have been released in the US over the last year representing multiple CAV stakeholder points of view, including public agencies such as the US Department of Transportation, OEM and their representatives, non-profit organizations like ITS America, and other related industries.

Based on a comprehensive review of these deployment plans, this presentation will aim to answer the following questions that address issues that most CAV stakeholders are interested in:

1) What actual “Day-One” CAV applications are expected to happen?

2) What infrastructure supports will be needed?

3) What gaps still exist and what is he best approach to closing them?

Presentation Description (for Conference App) Based on a comprehensive review, this presentation will aim to discussion on the potential day-one CAV applications and related infrastructure needed in US and Canada
