Data has been well-established as an essential business commodity, but the exponential growth in data availability often leads to the creation of noise rather than insight for decision-makers. Confusion from multiple, conflicting data sources and platforms leads to indecision and delay, potentially putting assets and operations at unnecessary risk, particularly when responding to severe weather events and other natural disasters such as earthquakes and wildfires.

Decision-makers need a single platform that consolidates reliable real-time and predictive information in an easily understood manner. That can communicate natural hazard risks spatiotemporally, quantify the risk hazards based on localized thresholds, and alerts against such hazards based on client assets. This session will explore a platform that was designed with multi-level decision-makers in mind. The platform has the ability to quantify multiscale weather and natural hazards and communicate that to decision-makers several days ahead using client tunned thresholds.
