Grounded in current research and real-world implementation of a SAMHSA-funded Mental Health Awareness Training (MHAT), participants will engage in a 60-minute lecture on mental health needs and prevention, a hands-on experiential activity, a 60-minute A.I.D. (Awareness, Interaction, Direction) training, and a 30-minute self-care experience. The session also introduces an innovative student liaison model that expands peer support and access to care. Participants will leave with practical tools they can immediately apply in their settings.

Workshop Type

Prevention

Workshop Length

3 Hour

 "}
