This session explores how excessive tech use can become a substitute for substance use, reinforcing addictive patterns and jeopardizing sobriety. Drawing on current neuroscience, we'll examine the "hijacked brain" and how chronic tech stimulation mirrors chemical dependence. Special attention will be given to adolescents and young adults. Participants will gain practical tools for assessing digital overuse, recognizing substitution behaviors, and integrating mindful tech habits into relapse prevention planning.

Workshop Type

Prevention
Recovery

Workshop Length

3 Hour

 "}
