Understanding modern slang can help avoid misunderstandings and misinterpretations in conversations.  It fosters respect and understanding of other cultures. Participants will recognize cultural differences in language and communication with people they interact with to ensure a stronger focus on positive community relations and professional relationships. Effectively communicating in the 21st Century is the core of any successful relationship.
