| Issue/Objective | The object of the innovative approach is to provide maximum precision to doctors before and after the diagnosis of patients who are suffering from infectious diseases, chronic diseases, and other health-related disorders with co-morbidity. Perhaps it is useful for doctors who are facing ambiguous situations before and after patient diagnosis due to inadequate disinfection system, specifically for the further referencing of safety and care giving to the patients. On the other hand, it can also solve the problems of inadequacy of other health care professions who should eventually be involved in disinfecting the diagnostic trolley/couch. Moreover, it can overcome the doctor and the health care staff's complications thereof pre and post-patient examination and/or diagnosis. |
|---|---|
| Methodology/Approach | The present innovative approach relates to the disinfection system of a conventional diagnostic trolley or couch. This present approach and design provides a cabinet comprised of an in-built ultraviolet tube light. The spraying system is installed with high, medium, and low speeds. The entire control system of the UV-light with sanitizer spraying system and dryer with blowing system is operated through an Android/Windows application system. It is automated and can be controlled by the screen given on the left side of the trolley. Therefore, there is no necessity for the operation by using a hand/manual mode. The system is comprised of a hydraulic opening and closing system as per requirement. The system is automatically adjustable and can disinfect the trolley/couch in every direction and is comprised of an automatic drying system comprised of dryers with a blowing system. |
| Results | a) This innovative approach provides a cabinet comprised of an in-built ultraviolet tube light. b) The spraying system is installed with high, medium, and low speeds. c) The entire control system of the UV-light with sanitizer spraying system and dryer with blowing system will be operated through an Android/Windows application system. d) It is automated and can be controlled by the screen given on the left side of the trolley. Therefore, there will be no necessity for the operation by using a hand/manual mode. The system is comprised of a hydraulic opening and closing system as per requirement. The system is automatically adjustable and can disinfect the trolley/couch in every direction and is comprised of an automatic drying system comprised of dryers with a blowing system. |
| Discussion/Conclusion | Paradoxically, the above innovative approach can be utilized to provide maximum comfort to the patients during the diagnosis (due to inadequate disinfection and manually operated system) and safety with a gentle movement of cabinets and slide panels with completely hands-free operation by the healthcare professionals. The above-mentioned methods may be utilized alone or in various combinations or with mild modifications/ similar rearrangements resulting in a Patient Diagnostic Trolley/couch as the final endpoint and thus in devising a comfortable system which may minimize or totally avoid the inadequate disinfection system, manual operation mode of side panel cabinets and its attendant complications during the diagnosis of patients. |
